I see men hold hands or walk together in a couple all the time. It’s perfectly acceptable here. In the US people would think they are gay and the guys would have to say “no homo” so people don’t think they are gay. Even though it’s acceptable for guys to walk hand in hand, homosexuality is taboo. Until very recently, engaging in homosexual activities could lead a person to a lifetime sentence in prison. I asked some one here about homosexuals and they told me that there aren’t any here. I’m sure there are many, but they can’t be open about it since it’s condemned.
Gay sex has been decriminalized by a court ruling in July 2009. Here’s a news article with some more info on the court ruling.
